What Emmy week actually looks like Three straight days of movement: high teas, charity luncheons, nominee toasts, gifting lounges, then the ceremony, the Governors Gala, and the studio parties that run past midnight. Talent moves between four and six events in a weekend, which is why credentialing for the smaller daytime events is often easier — and more productive — than chasing the ceremony carpet.

Independent operators run suites near the theater and in West Hollywood through the weekend. These credential quickly and rarely close early.

The red carpet: what actually happened

Monday's ceremony carpet, as reported by the fashion press — not a forecast anymore.

The looks that led coverage Zendaya wore a sheer white gown with silver beading, Mikimoto jewelry, and a new pixie cut. Chase Infiniti walked in a fully-beaded dark brown custom Louis Vuitton gown. Colman Domingo wore a custom Valentino ensemble, white slacks paired with a tan jacket. Keri Russell chose an all-black turtleneck leather gown with a low back; Supriya Ganesh wore an ice-blue silk gown with ruffle accents; Derek Hough arrived in an emerald green suit.
Confirmed

The archival-over-custom call held up

Our own forecast ahead of the ceremony pointed to archival and pre-existing runway pieces winning out over new custom commissions, given how tightly fashion month's New York-Milan-Paris run sits against the Emmys calendar. Monday's carpet bore that out — several of the night's most-discussed looks leaned archival rather than freshly built for the occasion.

The Creative Arts carpet, in hindsight

The Creative Arts Emmys, held the weekend before the main ceremony, drew early best-dressed calls for Octavia Spencer, Ariana Madix, Shailene Woodley, and Leslie Bibb from fashion press covering the carpet — a preview that held up once Monday's main event played out.
